At our 2012 Gathering in Peterborough, our good friend and fiendish miniaturist
extraordinaire,
Lynn Belanger,
said we
must
have a silent auction. It had been a great success at the Rochester Small
Scales Houseparty the previous year, so the committee said, go ahead Lynn. And
she did.
Each
gathering since then, we've had a highly successful silent auction, with the
proceeds going back to benefits the Gathering Registrants.
Sadly, Lynn died in 2013, but the Auctions live on in her name.

The Silent Auction
This year, we're have having a silent auction only, though you can be as noisy
as you like when you find that you have the winning bid.
We'd love you to bring some charming treasures from your collection, that you
would like to pass on to some new owner to cherish.
Suggestions for Silent Auction donations:
-
Collector item piece of furniture
-
An exquisite doll
-
Some exquisite accent piece, that you now know you might never find a room to
put it in.
-
Power tools you no longer use
-
Any other single item you feel we would all love to bid on
Be mindful of size, please. Everything needs to travel safely and easily to its
new home.
